Initial App Setup Using P2P Connection

  1. Ensure P2P (Platform Access) is Enabled:
    • On your NVR, go to Main Menu > Network > P2P.
    • Confirm that your NVR is connected to the internet and shows "Online" status.
  2. Install the DMSS App:
  3. Add a Device to the DMSS App:
    • Open the DMSS app and log in or create an account.
    • Tap the "+" icon on the home screen to add a new device.
    • Select "SN/Scan" and scan the QR code displayed on your NVR or its packaging.
    • If the QR code is unavailable, choose "Manual Add" and enter the serial number.
  4. Configure Your Device:
    • Select the device type (e.g., NVR, DVR/XVR, Wired Camera).
    • Enter a device name (e.g., "Home CCTV").
    • Input the admin username and default password abc12345 (or your updated password).
    • Tap "Save" to complete the configuration.

Event Notification Setup

  1. Subscribe to Notifications:
    • From the home screen, tap the three dots next to your device.
    • Select "Device Details" from the menu.
  2. Enable Notifications:
    • In the "Device Details" screen, tap "Notification" and switch it on.
  3. Configure Alert Types:
    • Choose the types of alerts to receive, such as AI Analysis features (e.g., Tripwire, Missing Object).
    • Select specific channels (cameras) to monitor.
    • Tap "Save" to apply your settings.

By following these steps, your DMSS app will be fully configured for remote access and real-time notifications.
